Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026 ยท Theo's Fight is operated by Andy Hutton
We know you're already dealing with enough. So here's the short version: we don't store any personal information about you or your child. The details you enter are used only to search for grants and are never saved, sold, or shared with anyone. That's it.
๐ข Who we are
Theo's Fight is a free service helping UK families of disabled children find and apply for financial grants for specialist equipment. It was founded by Andy Hutton, whose son Theo inspired the project.
For privacy enquiries, contact us at: hello@theosfight.co.uk
๐ What information we collect
When you use the grant search, you provide:
- Your child's first name and age
- Their diagnosis or condition
- Your location (town, city or postcode)
- The type of equipment needed
- Any optional additional context you choose to share
๐ How we use your information
The information you provide is used solely to:
- Search for UK grants that match your child's needs
- Generate a personalised application letter on your behalf
This information is passed securely to Anthropic's Claude AI to perform the search. It is not used for any other purpose.
๐พ Do we store your data?
No. Theo's Fight does not store, log, or retain any personal information you enter into the search form. Once your session ends, the information is gone. We have no database of users or searches.
๐ค Who we share your data with
Your search information is processed by Anthropic (the company behind the Claude AI) to generate grant results and application letters. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their own privacy policy, which you can read at anthropic.com/privacy.
We do not share your information with any grant organisations, charities, advertisers, or third parties.
๐ช Cookies
Theo's Fight does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any other tracking software. The site may use essential technical cookies only to keep the site functioning correctly.
๐ถ Children's data
We take the privacy of children extremely seriously. We only collect a child's first name, age, and medical condition for the sole purpose of finding appropriate grants. This information is never stored and never shared beyond the grant search process.
Theo's Fight is intended to be used by parents and carers on behalf of their children, not directly by children themselves.
๐ฌ๐ง Your rights under UK GDPR
As a UK resident you have rights regarding your personal data. Because we do not store any personal data, most of these rights are automatically satisfied. However if you have any concerns you have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold about you (we hold none)
- Request deletion of your data (none is stored)
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk
๐ Security
All data transmitted between your browser and Theo's Fight is encrypted using HTTPS. We use industry standard security measures including rate limiting and input sanitisation to protect the service from misuse.
